Our Mum & Bubs Pilates classes are designed for postnatal mums who want to move safely, feel strong again, and enjoy getting out of the house without needing childcare. These classes welcome babies from newborn to crawling age and focus on gentle, intelligent movement that supports your body as it recovers after pregnancy and birth.

What is Mum & Bubs Pilates?

Mum & Bubs Pilates is a postnatal-focused Pilates class where mums participate in a guided reformer-based session while their baby stays close by — on a mat, in a carrier, capture, bouncer or simply enjoying the environment.

Classes are:

  • Calm, unhurried, and flexible

  • Designed with postnatal recovery in mind

  • Led by experienced instructors who understand motherhood and changing bodies

Babies can feed, sleep, wriggle, cry — all of it is welcome here.

What to expect on the day

We keep things relaxed and mum-friendly:

  • Bring your pram or capsule straight into the studio

  • Feed, change, or cuddle your baby as needed

  • Pause your workout whenever required — that’s normal here

  • No judgement, no rush, no expectations

The environment is warm, welcoming, and understanding — because we know how unpredictable life with a baby can be.

Who is this class for?

This class is ideal for:

  • Mums from 6+ weeks postnatal (or cleared by their healthcare provider)

  • First-time mums easing back into exercise

  • Mums returning to movement after a first, second (or third!) baby

  • Anyone wanting a gentle, supportive re-entry into Pilates

No previous Pilates experience is required.

Is it safe after birth?

Yes — when guided properly.

Our instructors are trained to work with postnatal bodies and will:

  • Offer modifications for abdominal separation

  • Avoid high-pressure or inappropriate exercises

  • Support you through rebuilding strength safely and progressively

We offer a simple, flexible Mum & Bubs Pilates membership designed to support you through this season of motherhood — without lock-ins or pressure.

Class times:

  • Balgownie: Tuesday 10:30am

  • Thirroul: Wednesday & Friday 10:15am

  • Calderwood (coming soon): Thursday 10:15am

Want to come twice per week?
Let us know and we can easily adjust your weekly allowance to suit — flexibility is key here.

This membership is designed to be low-stress and mum-friendly:

  • Weekly payment

  • Freeze anytime

  • Cancel anytime with 2 weeks’ notice

  • 1 makeup class per month if something pops up
